Thomas Sweertvaegher - Hallertau
Thomas Sweertvaegher is a young photographer with a passion for skating. He has travelled across the globe, often with not much more than a skateboard — an extension of his identity — under his arm. In Hallertau: a skateboarder's journal, he records his experiences in photography. His photographs show the ups and downs of his free-wheeling life on the road, as well as the pain, scars and hangovers — but above all, the fun, the unexpected beauty and the power of genuine friendship. The book opens with an introduction by artist and skater Ed Templeton, and contains text by Laurent Derycke.
Hallertau is printed by die Keure. The cover was painted by hand.
