Renzo van der Bruggen

Renzo van der Bruggen obtained his law degree at the Ghent University in 2011. He immediately joined the Department of Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law as a full-time academic assistant/researcher under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Steennot.

On September 27, 2017, Renzo successfully defended his PhD thesis "European air passenger rights in the event of delayed and cancelled flights: The impact of the European legislator and the European Court of Justice". After this defence, he was granted the position of doctor-assistant at the Faculty of Law and Criminology (Ghent University). In 2019, publisher die Keure commercialised his PhD thesis.
