Bert Keirsbilck is an assistant professor of Commercial, Company and Economic Law at the Faculty of Law of the KU Leuven (campus Brussels). He is co-director of Consumer, Competition and Market. Bert studied law and philosophy at the KU Leuven (lic.iur. 2003; lic.phil. 2004). In 2010, he defended his PhD thesis entitled The New European Law of Unfair Commercial Practices and Competition Law, Oxford, Hart Publishing, 2011, lxiv + 702 p. He has been a visiting professor of Consumer Protection at the China-EU School of Law (2014) and a visiting fellow at LSE (2013) and Stellenbosch University (2015).
