Fleuve Congo River
Congo is a country of paradoxes and contrasts. Just like the country named after it, the Congo River is a blistering combination of cruelty and tenderness. Belgian photographer Kris Pannecouck sailed up the river — the backbone of the country — from its mouth to the Bangweulu wetlands.
